In tandem with UNC-Chapel Hill Information Technology Services, Finance and Operations’ IT Team provides technology management and support to the business side of UNC-Chapel Hill. The team supports 45 units, over 2,000 F&O employees, and hundreds of unique business applications and specialty devices across the university.
Information Technology Services provides a wide array of infrastructure-related services across the University, as well as initial (tier 1) desktop support for F&O employees. F&O IT provides secondary (tier 2 and tier 3) desktop support for F&O employees experiencing specific issues that cannot easily be resolved over the phone or via email.
F&O IT is focused on delivering superior technology support to improve business processes, reduce costs, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
F&O Information Technology Hours
Office hours: M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
(except University holidays)
On-call hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., everyday.
Energy Services Technology Hours
Regular hours: M-F 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
