Terry Sidberry is assistant control room operator at the Cogeneration Facility and Steam Plant in Energy Services and was featured in the December 2017 issue of the Gazette for tirelessly working to keep UNC-Chapel Hill running.

UNC Police and other local police officers shared a bit of cheer and spending money for a shopping excursion to the Hillsborough Wal-Mart with students from Chapel Hill’s Estes Hills Elementary, as provided for by the Chapel Hill Optimist Club’s annual “Shop with a Cop” program.

Underground utility work for the Central Campus Athletics Project will require the closure of a portion of Stadium Drive beginning Dec. 18, 2017, through March 1, 2018. During this period, Stadium Drive will be closed to through traffic.

Upon Jackie Overton's death last April, the University sought a way to honor a woman who fearlessly led the staff of UNC-Chapel Hill and was known for her dedication and humility in service, her kindness, sense of humor and especially for her love of Carolina.
