Thanks to $380,000 from a student-run group at UNC-Chapel Hill named the Renewable Energy Special Projects Committee (RESPC), the Chapel Hill Transit system will be able to acquire a third electric bus as part of its plan to pilot battery electric buses to reduce emissions and improve local air quality.

On May 30, the University Board of Trustees approved the 2019 Campus Master Plan. The new Master Plan will serve as the physical framework for The Blueprint for Next and will guide the growth and development of campus for the next 10 to 20 years.
