The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ranked No. 11 in this year’s Universitas Indonesia Green Metric World University Ranking.

Auxiliary Services Director Mike Freeman will retire Jan. 31, after more than 30 years in his position. Scott Myers, currently associate director of Auxiliary Services, will serve as interim director of Auxiliary Services, starting Feb. 1.

Officer T. Williams was one of nearly 40 officers from Carolina’s Department of Public Safety, Chapel Hill and surrounding law enforcement agencies who recently took part in the 2016 Shop With a Cop event.

Dwayne Pinkney has been named the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s chief financial officer and senior associate vice chancellor for finance and administration, starting Dec. 5, 2016.

UNC-Chapel Hill will observe a formal closure of the University during Winter Break 2016: Monday, December 26, 2016 through Monday, January 2, 2017.
