What is your role in the Service Center of Excellence?
My job is to help departments communicate their important information effectively. I do this primarily through writing copy, and designing graphics and layout.
What did you do before you came to the SCE?
I worked at UNC Student Stores for nine years (and four years as a student).
Why are you excited about joining the SCE?
I like that we’re getting in on the ground floor of where the University is headed with this new structure. I also enjoy the location and free parking!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
- Wrestling with my two daughters, Caroline (4 years old) and MJ (1 year old).
- Watching UNC win football & basketball games.
- Serving at our church, Vintage Church in Raleigh.
- Making Belgian waffles.
- Drinking good beer.
What is something people probably wouldn’t know about you?
I used to be in an unsuccessful punk rock band.
