Chapel Hill Transit to Pilot Battery-Electric Buses

Thanks to $380,000 from a student-run group at UNC-Chapel Hill named the Renewable Energy Special Projects Committee (RESPC), the Chapel Hill Transit system will be able to acquire a third electric bus as part of its plan to pilot battery electric buses to reduce emissions and improve local air quality.
