While Greensboro is only 50 miles from Chapel Hill, bussing tables at the local Chi-Chi’s is culinary light years away from directing the cuisine of the historic Carolina Inn and its Crossroads Restaurant.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ranked No. 11 in this year’s Universitas Indonesia Green Metric World University Ranking.

Auxiliary Services Director Mike Freeman will retire Jan. 31, after more than 30 years in his position. Scott Myers, currently associate director of Auxiliary Services, will serve as interim director of Auxiliary Services, starting Feb. 1.
