What is your role in the Service Center of Excellence?
I’m the SCE Finance Customer Support and Travel Manager.
What did you do before you came to the SCE?
I was the Business Manager for AVC Finance and Accounting and the Controller’s Office.
Why are you excited about joining the SCE?
I absolutely enjoy serving others: the thought of assisting someone to assure that their needs are met truly brings me happiness.
We may not have all of the answers, but we may know WHO to contact, which is half of the effort.
The parking is awesome!
I have worked directly with Finance since 1998 – and, still to this day, enjoy all of the different departments and processes that combine together to make F&A the best of UNC.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy riding our four-wheeler with our four grandsons; playing the piano; cooking for my family, friends and church; spending time with my husband of 36 years; taking day trips in our Corvette and going to the beach.
What is something people probably wouldn’t know about you?
I sing in a gospel trio called Kindred Hearts, which is comprised of myself, my daughter, Melissa, and my dear friend Robin Burke (a Business Analyst here at UNC).
We have produced two music CDs and are preparing to do our third.
